I'm so glad you guys liked the
video! If you used my belt technique on your blog, I'd love to see. Leave a link!
This is one of the shirts I got for Chase to replace the one I bleached. And now I am also the first one to wear it. I'm still not sure if I bought it for me or for Chase.. We'll say Chase because it makes me sound like a good wife.
I am wearing my husband's Cotton On shirt ($15), secondhand faux pearl necklace ($.75), faux pearl necklace ($5), Old Navy tank top ($5), thrifted belt ($1), J Brand jeans ($158), and Tsubo boots ($190).
While Chase was figuring out what to wear the next day, I realized he could emulate my outfit. He wouldn't let me put my pearls on him...or let me twisty belt him. Lame. Still...he looks yummy. Chase is wearing a Cotton On shirt ($15), American Apparel shirt ($12), secondhand Levi's jeans ($8), and Puma sneakers ($40).
I totally did something like this the other day. I grabbed my husbands flannel shirt and belted it!
ReplyDeleteYay for cute husbands, especially when we can steal their clothes! :) Lucky yours is so thin.
ReplyDeleteHaha, how cute! I steal my boyfriend's clothes all the time. Sometimes he notices..other times he finds out a litttttle late, haha! I love the color of the shirt you picked out too, btw.

wish i could do this lol! My hubby is small, but he refuses to buy his actual size (M) and wears L's or even XL's... so, little me drowns in anything that is his. Maybe THATS why he does it... jk!
ReplyDeleteI love that shirt on him just as much as I loved it on you! We'll call that a great purchase!
ReplyDeletethis is tooo awesome. but now you need two of them so you can got out on the town together!
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that I wear of my husband's is his huge fleece sweatshirts, because they rock. Especially in the winter when I'm freezing!
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad he didn't let you put the pearls and the twisty belt on him! Party pooper! :D
That shirt looks great on both of you!
ReplyDeletehahahaha! Cute post, I like your husband's pose too!
ReplyDeleteYou and your husband look great!
ReplyDeleteYay Chase for standing his ground! As creative as you are, I'm betting you can both enjoy the shirt regardless of who it was purchased for.
ReplyDeleteHe wouldn't let you pearl or twisty belt him? How rude! You were just trying to help ... I've shrunk one of Dan's cashmere sweaters before and to this day, he still hasn't noticed. I win.

ReplyDeleteHow cute is this? Too bad you don't have TWO shirts. Then you could match! (not that I would do this...not that we HAVE done this...okay...we have...;-).

Also, I so have already even before your video copied your belt technique (I stared really hard at the pictures) because it is awesome. You are awesome.

ReplyDeletexo enjoy the rest of the weekend.
You both look adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love that your husband is featured here too! You both wear the shirt well! I told my hubby I'm planning to steal a couple shirts that he was going to donate (because they're too big on him). I actually wonder if he'd be okay with me using his clothes that are in his current rotation...hehe, I think I may have to find out sometime.
ReplyDeleteHaha you are so silly! I'd borrow my boyfriend's clothes... but he's not as stylish as Chase. (don't tell him I said that!)
ReplyDeleteAlso, I totally looked at the Poetrie site and I can't wait to get paid so I can shop their site! They've got some really cute clothes!
I love wearing my husbands clothing when I'm at a loss for what to wear! Belting it is pretty important for me, since my husband is a little bigger. There is just something comfortable about wearing his clothes and something so effortless. It's such a nice change. I love the pearls with it. DEFINITELY makes it look like your shirt ;)
ReplyDeleteAdorable post! And I'm definitely on board with buying items for him that you'd wear too - it doubles your wardrobe!
ReplyDeleteso cute! wearing the same shirts! :D
ReplyDeletelove the colour of the shirt~
and love how you wear it with the boots and the belt :)
