Day two of taking pictures in the early morn. It's actually not that early. But it's the earliest I've been up since high school...especially since I had to do early morning seminary.

How do you like my wonderfully colorful outfit today? I think this is the most color I've worn in my whole life...besides that one time I was a pink Power Ranger. That was awesome.

Here's a close up of my necklace. Just to reiterate I bought this necklace (on final sale) and another cheap-o necklace and used the latter metal chain for this pink necklace. That didn't make sense. Basically, I used two necklaces to make this one...and, basically, I'm horrible at explaining things...and telling jokes. Just ask Chase. I'm always the only one laughing.

Don't forget to enter the giveaway to win one out of three scarves!! That's right - three winners. If all three winners want the same scarf, you'll have to fight to the death. Or pay me in cookies. Whichever's easier. We have to change that to celery sticks. I just ate too many brownies for dinner.

Wearing Old Navy cardigan ($18), reworked JCPenney necklace (free with gift card), J.Crew Outlet shirt (gift from my mom), Shade Clothing skirt ($10), and Seychelles mary-janes ($15).

Oh, i just fell in love with your skirt!

ReplyDeletei am so bad at telling jokes too. i always, but ALWAYS forget the endings and keep inventing them so, obviously, the joke becomes such a mess. and it is sooo frustrating, as i always laugh by myself, like you, and can't really tell the joke right so others would laugh with me :D

Super cute outfit! I love all of the colors and I LOVE that skirt!!!
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is so pretty- I really like how you styled it. The different colors worked well together. It's really creative how you reworked the necklace- I actually never even thought of doing that. But I have to say, JC Penny's is the best place for a treasure hunt- I always find great things at great prices there.

ReplyDeleteI think enough has already been said about the skirt and how pretty you look in it. i just want to add that not many people realize that it's not just the clothes that are important. What's more important is knowing which ones are right for you. You have a knack for getting your looks right.
ReplyDeleteThe outfit is still subdued, definitely not blinding. I like it. That skirt is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe necklace is gorgeous! I didn´t know yellow, green and pink would blend in wonderfully.
ReplyDeleteThe colors looks good! You put them together perfectly. :D Also, that necklace is freakin' awesome even if I don't quite understand how you made it. Hah.
ReplyDeleteYour skirt is very pretty. I like the morning light coming through the window.
