Colorfully Wonderful

10/28/2010

Day two of taking pictures in the early morn. It's actually not that early. But it's the earliest I've been up since high school...especially since I had to do early morning seminary.

How do you like my wonderfully colorful outfit today? I think this is the most color I've worn in my whole life...besides that one time I was a pink Power Ranger. That was awesome.

Here's a close up of my necklace. Just to reiterate I bought this necklace (on final sale) and another cheap-o necklace and used the latter metal chain for this pink necklace. That didn't make sense. Basically, I used two necklaces to make this one...and, basically, I'm horrible at explaining things...and telling jokes. Just ask Chase. I'm always the only one laughing.

Don't forget to enter the giveaway to win one out of three scarves!! That's right - three winners. If all three winners want the same scarf, you'll have to fight to the death. Or pay me in cookies. Whichever's easier. We have to change that to celery sticks. I just ate too many brownies for dinner.

i am so bad at telling jokes too. i always, but ALWAYS forget the endings and keep inventing them so, obviously, the joke becomes such a mess. and it is sooo frustrating, as i always laugh by myself, like you, and can't really tell the joke right so others would laugh with me :D

This green cardigan really works on you! I've been searching for a green cardigan that I love for years. And I love mixing the green with the pink. It really pops and yet the outfit still has great fall hues. LOVE IT!

That skirt is so pretty- I really like how you styled it. The different colors worked well together. It's really creative how you reworked the necklace- I actually never even thought of doing that. But I have to say, JC Penny's is the best place for a treasure hunt- I always find great things at great prices there.

That skirt, that skirt! I tried so hard to buy that skirt when it went on sale! My size was sold out everywhere! Now, when I see it on someone, I shed a little tear and maybe even get a little jealous :)!
P.S. Don't even get me started on early morning seminary! I'm from MT and getting up at the crack of dawn when it was 60 degrees below zero was pure hell!

I think enough has already been said about the skirt and how pretty you look in it. i just want to add that not many people realize that it's not just the clothes that are important. What's more important is knowing which ones are right for you. You have a knack for getting your looks right.

The outfit is still subdued, definitely not blinding. I like it. That skirt is beautiful.

I love the green cardigan! I don't think I've ever seen anyone tuck in a cardigan! it looks very chic and I love this outfit!

Ilona said...

The pattern of your skirt looks like autumn leaves - together with the green cardigan it's a great combination.

Good luck with trying to become more of a morning person... I'm intolerable in the early morning myself, but I know the problem of coming home when it's already dark.
