One Less Dress, One More Top

I'm so sorry I misled some of you to think I was pregnant in my last post. That was cruel. The answer:  I am not. If I were, you would all be the first to know...possibly before Chase...because he doesn't believe me when I say I think I'm pregnant when I want to throw up...or when I feel sick...or have a headache...or want ice cream now.

I cut off the bottom half of my dress last night because I was sick of having no clothes. Now I have one less dress and one more top. I kept the raw hem. I like that it rolls up a little.

Interestingly enough, this looks a lot like this outfit. I guess I inspire myself sometimes! (Ha ha.) I just love the orange-yellow color combo. Naturally, I had to add blue into the mix. I was a little wary of pairing my blue jeans with the blue sequin flats (I have a thing about pairing like colors together.) but my shoe selection is limited.

Chase and I went to Venice Beach today because we're fun and spontaneous. (No, we're not.) We tried the Korean BBQ tacos that we've been hearing good things about. It.was.delicious!!! It totally lives up to the hype. You gotta try it.

i love how you style up the red top with the yellow flower necklace! :)

This combination is perfect! Just the right amount of detail to spruce up a casual weekend outfit. Love it.

...Although how did you survive in jeans with this terrible heat wave?! It was over 100 out east of LA. I couldn't even handle going outside, much less in pants.

I like the dress to shirt look!

I always feel like I have no clothes... then my sister reminds me that I have a closet bursting with them.

I like to live in denial.

So cute! I think I have the same Gap dress but in green. Its too short to be a dress and too long to be a shirt, so maybe I should do what you did :)

I love your necklace. Everytime I see it on your blog I think WOW its so beautiful. I like everything about your outfit and the necklace against something casual works well. I like your jeans because of the fit. I don't have a good pair of jeans that fit well so thats why I hardly ever wear jeans.

I can relate on the whole "I-have-absolutely-no-clothes" feeling. Ugh. That's precisely why I chopped up that pair of jeans and refashioned them into shorts. Cheaper than buying new shorts and I'll actually wear these much more often than I wore them as jeans.
I really like the yellow flower and coral top combo you've got going on. I love yellow and coral together. :) So simple and so chic.

I love the dress made top -- are their enough left overs to become a skirt?

I think it's okay to wear the sequined flats with everything, they are pretty much a neutral now, i think.
