Cheater, Cheater, Pumpkin Eater

This is not what I wore today. I wore this skirt instead but I was uncomfortable all throughout the day. It is because it is shorter than the last time I wore it. It must have shrunk in the dryer...or maybe because I am an inch taller now...which I am. So this skirt is what I wish I had picked out this morning instead.

I love this look! It's like a mix of preppy with jungle safari chic (or maybe I'm just saying the latter because of the appropriate background). I wish I can get a better look at those oxfords, though!

I love this outfit anyways -- the skirt really is beautiful.

I've been enjoying your trip updates...my mom and sis just got back from Manila, so it's been cool to see photos of the area.

Ah, I hate it when the shrinkage happens :(

On the plus side, I absolutely love this look. So classic, but you manage to make it look modern, too.

I love that you didn't post what you really wore... That's what I would do, if I were to actually remember to post pictures every day. Which I don't because that would require me to, well, remember something every day...

And those guys.. Are they YOUR brothers or just random brothers? Because if they're random then I'll say "cute legs! Turn around! Whoot whoot!" But if they're YOUR brothers and that would be gross, then I'll say to ignore the beginning of this sentence.

It's your world ;)

The stripes and flowers look very fresh and natural together. I have some pieces in my closet that I should try that with, even if I fail miserably.

Maybe you could add another layer to the other skirt that was too short? Maybe with purple or white fabric? I think it would look cute with a solid bottom layer. :)

Elle Sees said...

i love the skirt!!

Oona said...

I agree with Ava. Except I think lace would go better with the pattern. And I really like how you wrapped the pearls around the choker! So creative and fresh!
