Black...but no blue or purple

Monday, June 07, 2010
Guess what? In the middle of the night I had to go to the bathroom and while I was walking through the dark hallway trying to find the doorknob with my outstretched arms, I ran into the door frame. Who knew you could hit your face so hard?? No bruises yet but I'm expecting some purple and blue tomorrow because I feel like I've been in a cage fight.

  3. Love the necklace!! I totally fell RIGHT off the bed on Friday night trying to kill a mosquito in mid air- not only did i NOT kill it, but I landed right on my shoulder. I'm too old to fall off the bed.

  4. Apply ice right away!!! You might even prevent it from swelling if you do it this early.

  13. Oh no! I hope you're not battered too badly tomorrow!

That reminds me of the day my boyfriend came over around midnight (he was hanging out with some friends) and I had fallen asleep upstairs. When I heard the buzzer, I leaped out of bed - without realizing that my foot had fallen asleep - and fell down the stairs.

  14. Oh no! Sorry about your bump. I hope that there's no bruising. I did something very similar with the edge of the cabinet once while cooking, and it wasn't even dark.

  17. Don't see a mark on you! Good thing. Usually it's my toes that get the worst of in the dark encounters. I know I've broken a pinky toe or two.

  24. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUCH!! i know how you feel - my mother's nickname for me as a child was "the clumsy one" ... i've been burned, cut, bruised all throughout life.

...girl you are looking great in this photo! i like the fact that you kept the outfit simple - sometimes you see bloggers try to add too many items or accessories which only serves to distract from the beauty of the blogger. you look AWESOME here :) i'm looking forward to catching up on your posts!

  28. Ouch, i hope your face feels better soon! Reminds me of the time i fainted in my grandmother's kicthen and face-butted her refrigerator. I came off much worse than the refrigerator did! Great necklace, really livens up basic pieces.
