I feel California-y today even though I still carry a Utah driver's license (not for long). Now if I can only convince someone to buy me a new bike...

Wearing F21 hat ($4), Hanes tee (free), secondhand BDG jeans ($17), and Wal-Mart sandals ($10).

I bought a new hat once I got back from the Philippines. I gave mine to a little Filipino girl on the street. I really liked it and was sad I wouldn't be able to find another one but thanks to mass-producing stores, we'll never run out of anything. Thanks, Forever 21!

I have a lot of pictures from the trip still and thought I'd include one in the outfit posts for those who were interested. If not, you still have my outfit deets!
Backpacking and LOST in Hong Kong. We couldn't find our hostel!

  5. That was kind of you to give the little girl your hat. I would have loved to have seen her smile when you did that. I guess it's reflected in your smile today.

  6. @Anne Hi! The brand is called Bongo and I got it at Big Lots for $5 last year. I definitely paid for its value. The band broke in the Philippines! Nothing some super glue can't fix though ;).

  7. Thanks Elaine! I've been on the market for a more casual watch, so I was just wondering. I guess you get what you pay for :) Glad you were able to fix it though!

  57. I have a question, but I forgot that other question website - sorry! Anyway, whenever I buy a pack of men's white tees like your Hanes ones they always seem so thin & see through. Do you have this problem and if you do how do you fix it or avoid having your underwear show through?

    Thanks!
