If you saw all the labels I'm wearing here, you'd think I was a walking Old Navy ad. I didn't even like Old Navy. They have cheap quality clothes for cheap prices - enticing for some, but it doesn't last. Old Navy has definitely upped their game. I've been loving a lot of their pieces lately, i.e. my bag.

The newest addition to my closet is this jacket in a packet. I'm all about practicality and being able to stuff all that in your pocket makes it very mobile and makes for a very happy Elaine. I told Chase it was for the Philippines. It is...and I can also use it after!!

This is what I look like 90% of the time.

This is what I wish I looked like all of the time.

Wearing Old Navy raincoat ($15), Old Navy cardigan ($18), Old Navy floral tee ($4), thrifted Anne Klein belt ($1), J Brand jeans ($158), Geox flats ($37), and Old Navy bag ($10).
You are so cute! I love your first facial expression Elaine!
ReplyDeleteI've never liked Old Navy too! Maybe I'll actually go inside the store next time.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, they have upped their game, i first got that pocket raincoat from Topshop, not sure how i felt when i saw it at old navy, but i still find some great Basics there! their newest cargo/military style jackets are great!! Love your outfit, creatively and elegantly put together!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day!

yellow coat and green cardigan! YES!
ReplyDeletejacket in a packet!? seriously, how awesome and handy.
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I love your "90% of the time"" look, just adorable! I agree about ON, because there are times when I walk out of there with some real winners, but mostly I peruse and leave empty-handed.
ReplyDeleteHaha. You're too funny! I don't like candid photos for that reason, but I like staged candid photos, though. It makes you look cool and collected every single time.
ReplyDeletePhilippines! <3

You should make more silly faces, they're always fun. :D I like Old Navy time to time, but they're usually good for basics for me, rather than the stand-out pieces that I so desire.

ReplyDeleteThat jacket in a packet would be fabulous for bicyclists. I'm excited to see something both chic and high-viz. I may have to find one of those for myself.

I haven't been to old navy in forever! frankly because of the cheap quality of the stuff and lately stuff hasn't been appealing. but i did wander over to their website to check out some stuff when i saw it on some one's blog and yeah they have totally stepped up their stuff, at least by the looks of things.
ReplyDeleteCute cardigan! I will have to go check out Old Navy--I haven't been there in quite some time.
ReplyDeleteGreat cardigan, I love your style. Fashion on a budget!!

ReplyDeleteOld Navy surprises me too sometimes... and how awesome is that jacket. Bright, pretty and it comes in a bag? Genius.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cunning rain slicker! I want one!
ReplyDeleteAs for Old Navy not lasting: I'm not so sure about that assessment. Sure, their jeans wear out in under a year, but I've had my striped cardigan from there for... 5 years? I just replaced the buttons and now it works better than ever.
i don't think i've ever seen this gorgeous green cardigan on you... that bright color really highlights your hair color :)

I love Old Navy! When you hit them on sale days and get tops for $2 or $3 dollars it is worth it to shop there. I do think their shoes are too expensive for the quality though.

I have a hard time shopping at Old Navy (so many people! so many colors! so much loud music!), but I find their jeans to be worth it. It's been so long since I bought anything other than jeans there that I have no idea what the quality is like otherwise.
ReplyDeleteAdorable - I love that shade of green! I agree - Old Navy has gotten better. Their clothes are now less boxy and more fitted which I also like. I just stocked up on sun dresses.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
