Here's to Better Days

4/06/2010

Today is one of those days where nothing was good enough. "My pictures are too bright." "I look weird in all of them." "The wind is messing up my hair!" I think I am due for the monthly visit soon. A big apology and kiss to my husband who had to put up with it....I hope you still like me.

Well, no one likes a complainer. One of the great things about man is our potential to be better. I'm going to start by running off all that cake I just ate now.

Sorry you're having a rough day!

Also, I am laughing at that last picture. I'm sure it's just a weird angle or something, but it looks like that building is about to topple over!

I'ts all in your head Elaine... as usual you pull it off: Simple & chic.

ooh I love that teal sweater with the red belt! Such a daring combo! I could never do it, but it looks so good!

personally, I'm wayy jealous of the snow in utah right now. When I was there this past weekend and it snowed I was in heaven. But that's because I'm never really in the snow.

Wow, look at that weather. Sorry that you're feeling off today. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better. I went running today too and I feel really fit (and sweaty).
Love the outfit. You look great in in this sweater. Thanks for your advice on the dress. It went back but I think I learned a lot from the dilemma.

Another lovely outfit! The belt is a very nice accent but I just love those jeans, they look so comfortable :)

Hope you're feeling brighter soon Elaine. If it's any consolation, the pictures aren't too bright, you don't look weird at all and your hair looks great!

Such a cute cardigan and I love the asymetric way you've belted it :)

You look lovely in these photos as usual :)

And wow, is it ever weird to see pictures from someone in the same country as me where, on the same day, you have snow on the ground and it hit 92 here! Once you're in CA the weather should even out a bit. You guys will have so much fun out there!

I can't believe it is snowy in SLC - in April?! Is this normal?

Cute blue sweater, I love how you belted it with a red belt!

Dear, sincerely your mood affected in the pictures. You are really down in the pictures, but you still look pretty. I know how it feels getting bored and stressed because of PMS :P
Just don't worry about your husband, he knows you, he knows how it's horrible being a woman during these specific days and he still loves you. I'm one hundred per cent sure of that because I live it myself every month. Sometimes I feel like I'm being the most terrible dictator ever, but then my love comes with a smooth voice asking if I am in those days, I answer yes, he asks me to bite him and everything is back to normal :P Weird, huh?

Hehehe =} Remember this: You GROW through what you GO through

read this today somewhere
hope you get better soon and bring us smiles and sighs with your stunning pictures, okay lady?

for what it's worth, even before reading your text, i though these photos of you to be quite beautiful. i adore your outfit, especially the thin red belt that finishes your look. you're striking, Elaine. anyhow, i get those moments, or rather -- periods, when things just aren't good enough (which is why i rarely photograph my outfits, if at all!).

oh boy... i understand about your iffy mood. i wouldn't have noticed at all though. these photos are magical - the bits of snow melting in the background really lets your outfit take center stage. by the way... i just love your skinny red belt! you rarely see belts in that color! :)
