Button a Pop

Hope you all had a great Easter! My sister came up so it was a nice, small, quiet Easter dinner...until we took out Scrabble and then it was war. Did you guys enjoy General Conference? Wasn't it amazing?? If you missed it, you can check it out here.

I traded in some clothes and got this blouse at Plato's Closet. I don't have a lot of dressy tops so it is a nice addition to my wardrobe...except the second button keeps popping. I kept accidentally flashing people today. I should probably fix that.....later.

Love the print on this blouse! I had a blue tie-neck blouse going on today, too haha. These jeans with the gold shoes rock every time!

you look amazing. i love the contrast of the red lips with the blue and white top, comes out very regal. i knew the second i saw those shoes that they were vintage. great post!

I love this look! So chic. Those jeans are a perfect fit. I really love the jacket and top too. And the shoes are the perfect accessory - a great finishing touch for the outfit. Love, love, love.

I'm in love with the bright pop of saturated colors (the lips, the shirt!). Though the flashing thing may not be such a bad thing. ;) hahahaha just kidding, I'm not a fan of uncooperative buttons either. My mom isn't either, who is constantly afraid I'll accidentally flash someone with my nonexistent chest.

PS: Not that this comment isn't long enough, but I also LOVE those light gold/nude heels.

Hi Elaine!! It's been long time since I commented. Just wanted to say Hey : ) I'm in love with your outfit.

Perfect look for you !
I had to laugh when you mentioned pulling out Scrabble game and then War...we had a 3 year hands off our Scrabble game because some of our children are very competitive and don't like losing...especially to their youngest brother. We switched to "Clue" and I have won almost every game, so no fighting, just praise for dear old Mom !!!

That's such a pretty blouse. I've always wanted to get a tie-neck blouse, but I haven't really seen any. Not that I shop much, though.

Aw, gotta love red/pink lipstick, but I'm too shy to put them on me. I usually have neutral gloss, but anyway, looks good on you! ;)

I love the lipstick with the bag!! Super cute.

Elaine said...

@Anonymous Hi, Anonymous! It's actually a lipgloss... L'Oreal high intensity pigments shine struck liquid lipcolor in turbulent. Whew - that was a mouthful.
