Today was a bad combination of wind, hat, and skirt. Stupid Utah. I'm not too pleased with the shoes I wore today. I wish I wore wedges instead....but it's Monday.

Remember I mentioned that we were starting to pack? I didn't realize that in the process the apartment would be an utter MESS. The floor is not visible...anywhere! It is literally a maze of boxes and furniture and whatnot. I am a pretty organized person so this is driving me complete bonkers.

Wearing F21 hat ($4), Old Navy bag ($10), Gap sweatshirt ($11), DIY skirt ($3), and Geox flats ($37).
love the hat
ReplyDeleteyou have a lovely blog, keep it up
thanks for sharing as always, darling!

ReplyDeletelove you in a hat! and not just because i wear them everyday... as everyone is saying, cute, comfy, just plain great outfit.
ReplyDeleteMoving is a total PAIN! Try to keep a practical/Sunday/fun outfit in a suitcase so you can get to them. Otherwise you might lose all your best clothes in some mystery box.
ReplyDeleteOh dear! I hope you are feeling better. I just shifted, so I know exactly what you are going through. Besides, you do look cute. Chin up and smile. All will be well.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on packing! I've moved around a lot growing up, and I do not like the process of doing it! You do not just end up possibly forgetting an item or two, but you have to move away from your buddies and everything you're familiar with :-(
ReplyDeleteYour look is very casual and cute!
oh i remember when were packing to move (as we have done so every 4 years)...the house is a mess..and we send our beds ahead to the new place and end up sleeping on the cushions on the floor..hehe.
ReplyDeletelove that hat with the green skirt!

you look effortlessly comfy/chic! I'm not in the same situation as you with the moving and all, but I can't see my floor at all! It's been like this a month - I don't even know how I can put up with it. hah!

ReplyDeleteJust found your site recently and LOVE it. I have two teen daughters and it's so hard to find clothes that are both fashionable AND modest. You inspire us! Thank you!

Not that I really know what LA style is, but this feels like it! :) I think the flats work great with the outfit – a feminine but casual look.
ReplyDeleteThe hat is just darling! Too bad the wind tried to steal it from ya.

ReplyDeleteCute hat!
ReplyDeleteHow is it that you can take a sweatshirt and make it look so chic and polished?!?!?
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the packing!
Yes moving is a very messy hectic process, good luck!
ReplyDeleteI just love that sweatshirt!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the packing! I was there not too long ago, and all I can say is "purge"! If you are having a moving company shipping your items, the less you have to move the better rate. Most charge by weight, and everything must be packed in boxes except for large items like furniture. Hang in there ~ you'll be done packing before you know it!
i love how your skirt makes your outfit so... so much more! ( I don't know the word for it) Good luck with moving, I'm so excited that you are moving to LA!
ReplyDeleteSO CUTE!! u look comfy!
ReplyDeleteGood luck packing! My family is packing to move again. It can be so stressful but when you're done I'm sure it'll feel like it was all worth it.
ReplyDeleteaww how cute! i love the hat, it pulled the whole look together! and the sunday look was gorgeous!!

So cute! I LOVE that hat! Looks so great for warm weather.
ReplyDeleteYep, we are headed off to Korea in August to teach!! That's awesome that you guys almost did, too! You just don't meet many people who have pursued something like that. Have you been there before? I've been to Japan many times, and K's been to China, but this'll be our first time to S.K. I guess it's just the time of year for adventures, huh? You with your big trip and then L.A. and me with Korea! Keep us updated on your move too-- and I SO want to see pictures from your Philippines trip. I'm totally jealous!
And LOL it would be awesome to trade hair for a day! I'm game! :D
You pull it off quite nicely. Love the casualness; the bag and hat add just the right touch.
ReplyDeleteSuper cool blog! As a mom who has lost her groove, oh my, I've got to follow you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for signing up for my giveaway! Best of luck!

ReplyDeleteThis is so Molly Ringwald in Sixteen Candles. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I looked through previous posts with the DIY skirt. I am going to make myself one. I have a dress that is higher waisted and has the elastic black band and a brown skirt with a nude(ish) top and I always think how much I would love to have a skirt like the bottom of the dress. You have one!!! It's awesome.
ReplyDeletenice look :))) you are so sweet :>
