April Flower

I like this necklace. My husband doesn't - he thinks it's too much. I think NOT! I get several compliments on it each time I wear it! Maybe because it is too much... I don't know. I have the supplies for a second one so I might make another and give it away here. Watch for it later, gaters.

While we were walking around our neighborhood looking for some shade to take my pictures, I was approached by Marte, a Norwegian street-style blogger. She asked if she could take my outfit pic because she really liked my necklace. She was so nice I could've given it to her right then! Check out my pic on her blog here....

Wearing DIY flower necklace ($3), thrifted Anne Klein belt ($1), Gap dress ($7), and Geox flats ($37).

The apartment building in the last post is in Dumb and Dumber. Only a few people got it right!
Can you tell? It is now newly renovated. They used to be the refugee apartments.
There's your fun fact of the day.

  3. Well, I love the necklace! Yellow roses are my absolutely favorite (Adam has to clarify that he doesn't just want to be my friend any time he gives me them haha). I think it works because you paired it with a lovely but simple dress :)

  4. Fantastic necklace! Don't you just love when you like something (fashion wise) and the husband does not? Most days begin with mine telling me "That looks weird."

  5. I don't think it's too much at all, but then again I like a little too much in my wardrobe! That necklace is FAB, doll!

  8. That's too funny!! I didn't see that you had asked what movie the apt. building was from, because I new it was familiar, and I just showed it to my husband and he got it immediately. You know the scene where they are next to that pond trying ot get the briefcase open? I guess it's in one of my husbands missionary companion's backyard. By the way, I'm not 100% on that flower necklace..it's cute, maybe a little smaller? I love the colors your wearing, though, very spring time!!

I've got this huge, lucite H&M necklace from a few years ago that my fiancée HATES, but I so love, and also get alot of comments on, so I know how you feel!

  16. Cool! Way to go! I was just at the store today looking at some artificial flowers. I've been planning to make neat accessories with them. I think the flowers are a great addition to the outfit. From afar, it looks like it's part of the collar.
