William Riera and Renee

3/14/2010

William Riera sent me this gorgeous Renee dress (and two others) to review. This is my absolute favorite from his site. I love the pleated details in the sleeves and at the waist. And the fabric is nice and stretchy!

I actually had the pleasure of meeting William a few weeks ago. He offered to custom fit all three dresses for me!!!! They now fit like a dream. I am not a fan of empire waist dresses because they make me feel like I'm pregnant but his dresses make me feel like a goddess with the subtle shirring and the jersey knit fabric. Just be careful of the sizing - I am almost always a size small but when I tried it on, it was too big for me so I wear an extra small in his dresses.

They are also sponsoring a giveaway on my blog in a couple weeks so be on the look out for that! They will be giving away a dress of the reader's choice and size!! But in the mean time you can check out their page and use the code CLOTHEDMUCH at check-out for 15% off if you need it now!

It still isn't too late to RSVP to the Downtown Blogger Meet-Up this Saturday!! If you live in Utah and have a blog, it would be a great way for you to network and meet other bloggers who are in the same boat. Plus there will be raffle giveaways for three gift cards to Uptown Cheapskate, a gift certificate for a dress from William Riera, and headbands from Academy J!! It's going to be a hoot.

For some reason, in that photo the dress reminded me of Sailor Moon.

The dark blue of the dress is very pretty-- I'm also a fan of the pleating, but it would've been nice to see the front of the dress better! But I do like the boxy silhouette look you're rocking here. :)

You look classic and fabulous - what a great dress. Jersey dresses are also really comfortable and it's nice to see an option that isn't skin-tight.

i lovelovelove the way you used the jacket over it to keep it from looking too maternity-ish. wish i'd thought of that in my post partum phase with some of my maternity clothes haha. could've saved me a few of those "are you having another baby?" comments.

also, the color looks great on you!
