Sneak Peek

3/29/2010

Today Cindee and I went around downtown doing a mini photoshoot. Then we topped it off with some Indian food...yum! It was fun...except for the unwanted attention we received from a few creepers!! No, we do not want a kiss and, no, we will not go to the bar with you!

Creepers and just general self-consciousness is why I prefer to take pictures where there are less people around. :/ But! I think this photo came out gorgeous, I love those heels on you!

Holy moly, that´s sharp. Love the pose and love the outfit: simply, clean and with a twist (the shoes really do the trick here). Great Job, Elaine!

Kathryn said...

It's amazing how incredibly sexy you can make a pair of jeans and a button down look here. It must be the heels and the pose, or maybe just your awesomeness.

Hi!

Love your blog, I've been following you for a while :)

I started to look for blogs from people from SLC since I'm going all the way over there from Puerto Rico to study a year in the University of Utah as an exchange student starting on August.
I've been really into fashion blogs these past months and I'm glad I found yours!
I hope we can exchange e-mails so I can get to know a bit more about SLC since right now I'm really clueless about the city or the university. I think you study there right?
My email is dalizk@hotmail.com and I'm really hoping to hear from you.
Sorry for my English :D

Sabrina said...

those gold heels are fabulous!!!

its because of creepy people like that I have a hard time taking pictures out in public.

Sal said...

What a great shot! Sorry to hear you drew the attention of some creeps ... that's the trouble with public shoots, someone always chimes in.

RicAdeMus said...

I feel like I have to apologize for the creepers--they seem to not understand the difference between disrespect and a compliment. Guys like that give men a bad name. You looking amazing is not an invitation to be annoyed. {sigh}

An honest, innocent compliment is not rocket science. I don't understand why it is so difficult for some guys to understand.

annie said...

Wow. I think this is one of my favorite outfits of all time!

RicAdeMus said...

PS - I've exchanged words with a few guys like that over the years, but once I ran two guys off without even saying a word. I was at the gym with my wife--we were on treadmills. The 2 guys were not working out, just checking out girls. I got a little angry when I noticed them (which was great for my workout, I had that treadmill humming). When they turned towards my wife I think I snarled or something because they immediately looked at me and then they decided to go to the other side of the room. They kept looking back at me, uncomfortably--I was giving them the stink-eye, and within a few minutes they left. Somehow my wife knew what happened because she asked "why did you do that?" I just played innocent, laughed and told her it was a great workout!

The heels really make the total look...supersheek !!! As for the 'creepers' when I was young, my cousin took some photos of me at the beach right after church on Sunday in my Sunday clothes to send to my boyfriend overseas ( now my Hubs ) and we both got hit on a few times by some 'creepers' Sheesh...MEN !
