The Color Green

Sunday, March 07, 2010
How do you like my new green tights?!? I got the microfiber/nylon tights and they are nice and thick - perfect for the winter. I am so fascinated and intimidated by its bright greenness. You guys know I'm a lover of neutrals so I had a hard time figuring out how to wear them. But then I realized the best way to wear color is with neutrals! So BAM. If you guys are looking for bright colored tights, look no further - We Love Colors delivers.

...except I don't know if I like this outfit anymore...especially because I'm not a fan of cap sleeves...they tend to accentuate my arm flab :(. I should've worn a cardigan or something...

  2. Those are a great colour! Tights and leggings are my favourite. The outfit looks unique, but you should definitely experiment with more clothing items with these - and post photos!

  3. The PERFECT way to wear these tights! Love everything about the outfit (including the sleeves!). Crushin' on the brogues a whole lot.

  4. I like those tights - especially with the new shoes! I thought I was not a fan of the brogue movement, but that pair you've got on in that color is kind of really changing my mind. I really like them!

  5. You look beautiful and ready toned down the brightness of the tights. They're a great match for the brogues.

  6. oooooo i REALLY love this look on you! it's very different from your usual vibe but it's fun. kinda school girl but the tights make it upbeat. i love colored tights and leggings on other people but i just don't own any... it's already warm enough to be wearing sandals in the afternoons so i'm kinda anti anything-on-my-skin... rebelling against the cold clothes, ahha!

  8. The cap sleeve looks great, what are you saying woman?!?!? Loving the green tights - so festive!

  9. I hate cap sleeves too. Whenever my dress has a cap sleeve, I alter them to make them the regular sleeveless dress.

The green tights and the brogues are perfect together. xoxo

  10. I definitely love your dress! Love the tights too, for me i would choose a darker color though, i'm not as brave as you! xoxo

  13. The tights and the Steve Maddens work well together. Maybe this summer you should devote one day a week to trying to find something that doesn't look good on you.
