Horsing Around

I found my go-to hair style:  I sleep with two buns in my wet hair Sailor-Moon-style. It was big and poofy in the morning but my hair is too straight and soft/sleek that it turns into this by the end of the day. Straight and sleek isn't necessarily grand, just so you know... And I think I'm getting the hang of these side swept bangs! Just a little curl with the straightener and I am good to go.

You probably think this is too obvious of an outfit. I thought it was and wasn't sure if I should post this or not. But I liked it! A male co-worker of mine asked if I was going riding.... YEAH, if you get me a horse and a trainer! and some knee pads... elbow pads.. a helmet.. possibly a bubble.

  15. I like this look. And the brown boots with the black jeans make for a very sophisticated outfit! And I love love your hair. I have the same problem with stubborn hair--no matter what I do/did to it it falls flat in hours.

  26. When I used to ride I was generally found sporting a bad case of hat hair and covered in horse slobber, nothing like the equestrian chic vibe you've got going on today - love it.

  34. THis ensemble is so classically chic. I am obsessed with the "equestrian" look anyway. And you know I love brown and black together. I just realized that I never had your on my blogroll. I just went to my "dashboard" and saw that you posted today and I was all like "Why the hell isn't it my blog roll then?" Well duh...I never put you on it! Duh...Problem solved!

And I love your question your coworker asked you about riding? I am pretty sure I would have said something not so "politically correct"! God is working with me! LOL

  35. You are looking mighty lovely with the side swept bang! really like the equestrian look, sweetly classy ;)

  39. I love the black and brown combo against the sharpness of the white. For some reason, I've fallen in love with that color combination.

P.S. Yay! Side swept wins! Once it gets hot, I think I'm going to side swept as well. It's hard to maintain my bangs in the summer, because my hair sweats out and gets frizzy.

  40. I love sailor moon and the way your hair turned out!! my hair is also straight so sometimes I sleep with braids to make it have more texture too :)

  41. I love equestrian-ish outfits. I had a friend who rode in college, and I was always jealous of her awesome riding boots. You look gorgeous and I love your hair -- I'll definitely try out the styling tip as I miss having waves but don't want to get another perm!

  42. Your outfit is super cute! I like the way your hair looks, but if you want to keep it curlier, you might try hair gel. It works pretty good for my hair, but depends on your hair type how long it will stay. For me, it doesn't last too long because I have extremley thick, long and HEAVY hair :) so I curl it, and it pulls down throughout the day. But scrunching your hair with hair gel(I reccomend Herbal Essence) helps give it more of a "messy look" I don't know if this helps AT ALL! But I thought I'd suggest it! :)
