Saturday Night Fever

Doesn't this look a bit Indiana Jones? All I need is the hat and a whip. But I like it. It's all classic pieces: black jacket, white button-down, blue jeans. It never fails, really.

Wearing Collection B faux leather jacket ($55), Gap white button-down ($12), husband's belt ($10), secondhand BDG jeans ($17), and MIA brogues ($43).

I'm still looking for recommendations for hot spots in Boston and NYC if anyone knows any! We're planning on going next week. We're also going to check out Philly in a couple days because my husband's never been. We briefly went there before our wedding but it wasn't enough time to see everything.

If it is a bit Indiana Jones, it is a very stylish sexy version - I don't think Harrison Ford can compete with you.

Love the leather jacket- For Boston, one of my fave restaurants is Stella in the South End....here's the website: www.bostonstella.com

Not cheap but not outrageous, price-wise. The food/decor/etc are amazing!

I wish I could recommend someplace for you but I don't have any. Both cities are great though so I'm sure you will have fun no matter what!

Love the brown belt with the black jacket/shoes/purse. The white shirt makes it a really nice crisp outfit.

lovely outfit. I adore the belt

So are you having a blast? What have you done so far? And I think you pull off the "Indiana Jones" look just fine. Do you have a whip in your bag? ;)

This outfit is so chic! I love it!

I'm not from Boston, but one of my best friends is, and here are some of the places he recommended that I check out when I went last year:

Harvard Square - lots of good Indian restaurants; John Harvard’s Brew House is best for beer; the Harvard Art Museums and the Peabody Museum of Natural History and Anthropology if you're feeling cultural

The North End - for great Italian food like Ernestos on Salem St. for a slice on the go, for dessert go to Caffe Vittoria or Modern Pastry (both are on Hanover St.), for more formal dining, Mamma Maria on North Sq. is really good!

That'd be sweet if you did actually have the hat and whip for the photo op.

And a door slowly closing to the floor to dive under.
