I've promised myself a long time ago that my kids are going to look smashing. Yes, I just used the word "smashing." They will not be adorned with cheezy cartoon characters nor will they wear graphic tees. Instead, my girls will definitely wear cute dresses like these...

Seriously, how adorable are these?!? I came across this online store of Children's Clothing and had to share with you. And guess what? They have a Seoul, Korea collection!!! .....I KNOW!!!! So cute right? Apparently, the clothing designers went to Korea for some inspiration for their new collection. The pictures on their blog make me wish I were back there! You know what else they do? They send 50% of their profits from their "little citizen" collection to the Global Fund for Children, which helps children literacy and well-being around the world.

  4. I made the same promise to myself when I had a kid ... none of the frou frou like most children's apparel! He was the very first baby in our family who wear denim panties from The Gap! My sisters-in-law were amazed!

    Wish I had a daughter though to dress up in those cute dresses of yours!

  13. Those are so adorable! I wish I could get some here in time for Christmas...and supporting *children literacy* to boot! I've always banned anything commercialized or character based from my girls closets, but truly *cute* is getting harder and harder on a budget. Save now so you don't have to compromise!

  21. I totally agree wih your plans for clothing your children. I think it is as important as what you name them !

    I actually clothed all mine in the mid '70s to early '80s in cheezy/animal characters and some really awful ensembles that we all get some good laughs over now...but the winner has to be photos of my Hubs in his leisure suits and platform shoes and those hideous, flowered shirts !

  24. i can definitely see the korean inspiration in that last dress. looking at baby clothes makes me want to have children to dress up. i think my kids will look like the ones in the j.crew catalogs :)

  32. Those are so pretty. I know what you mean...I had to go to Gap Kids/Baby Gap to pick up a gift recently and I was like, "oh, I like this and this and this and this and this" and had to remind myself that I actually don't have any toddlers to shop for yet. :)

  33. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Tea Collection! That black/white/red dress you featured on the right showed up in their catalog before last and I've been stalking it ever since. The instant that little beauty goes on sale it's MINE! (I honestly wish they made it in adult sizes.) The Korea collection is adorable.

  39. I never thought about what clothes I'd put on my hypothetical children. I'd probably dress them up AS cartoon characters rather than putting cartoon characters on them. It'd be cosplay and Halloween every day for me until the kids were old enough to rebel or call CPS; Wolverine, Sailor Moon, you know it and I would dress a child up as it.
