Embellished

Saturday, November 07, 2009
I LOVE my new ATL top!! especially because of the embellishment of the fabric flowers. It's such a simple design (that many people could DIY) that adds so much to a basic tee. Now I want to do this to all of my tshirts....once I figure out my new sewing machine. Did I mention I'm a horrible sewer? My husband is better than me.... This was the day (Thursday) that I realized I needed brown boots too. Don't you agree? There's too much black going on here.

Well, it's 9:30 and I ate a lot of post-Halloween candy today so I should probably run or something. Anyone want to join me? :)

  20. So cute :) I'm going to have to go to Korea to get me one.

My husband makes fun of me when I tuck my shirts in my skirts... so I'm too afraid to try it.

  21. I think that outfit is great with black *or* brown boots! I've got a very underused sewing machine. I'm okay but I usually need help. My mom used to sew a lot when I was a kid, but now she even says that it's easier and cheaper to just buy things on sale!

  23. I love the skirt, it's great that its a bit longer than most jean skirts! I definently agree that the little flower detail brings alot to the shirt...too bad I'm not good at diy

  27. @ Chelsea Nicole You shouldn't be afraid to try it! I do it ALL the time. I'm an hour glass figure so to show that off, I HAVE to belt my skirts there or else I would probably emphasize the wrong parts of my body, i.e. hips! Check where the smallest part of your body is and if it's your waist in the middle, why not try tucking in shirts into skirts? If you keep them out and over your skirt, it'll only elongate your torso and probably shorten your legs. We want LONG legs and curves! Try it out and tell me how it goes! Or better yet...take some pics and email them to me! ;)
