Cowboy Up

I definitely felt very western in this outfit. Plaid? Blue denim? Boots?? Yeah...very western. The tunic was a little expensive for me, (Can you tell how cheap/poor I am?!?) but it's a tunic so it is more versatile. That is my reasoning.

Just wanted to say a quick thank you to Rose, Megan, and Jasna for the blog awards!! I'd much rather write 7 things about me than do my research paper.. It's probably just as interesting as my paper too...
  1. I'd rather get a loft in the city over a 4-bedroom house in the suburbs.
  2. My husband's sure I am a little OCD. That would explain a lot of things...
  3. I used to work at American Eagle and the Gap. GOODBYE RETAIL!!!!
  4. I have no self-control when it comes to sweets. I will literally eat them until my stomach hurts or until my husband forces me to stop. Otherwise, I get major tummyaches and headaches.
  5. I am shy. I think... I don't know anymore.
  6. I don't like loose hairs on my skin....yes, even my own!
  7. I used to hate my almond-shaped eyes when I was little because I always got teased but now I love them!!!

  1. i love the plaid, especially with the denim and boots. whenever i wear plaid, i am also inexplicably drawn to other cowboy-ish pieces, too. this looks great on you--makes me think the western theme works!

  5. Elaine, We have so much in common I'm learning! I used to work at the Gap and then at American Eagle. I really would go back to working at the Gap because it's fun, and because of the awesome discount!! I didn't like working at AE though.Maybe one day I'll do a part time job and use my pay on clothes. ;)

...and i know how you feel about loving a body part that previously got your teased... for me it was my lips. but it took me until i was a teenager to realize that people get botox to achieve that look :)
