The husband and I went on a date last night and it was so much fun! I'll admit....

Wearing Wet Seal sunnies ($3), DownEast Basics white tee (gift from my MIL), Wet Seal skirt ($10), Gap scarf ($8), F21 boots ($16).
There are some nights when we don't talk as much and I feel like we've been married for a long time. And then there are times like last night and I feel like we're just getting to know each other and I fall in love all over again. I love it. I want more moments like that.

ReplyDeleteI happened to see you on your date night. Do your dates always include stops at the Nordstrom Rack? If so, I am jealous.
ReplyDeleteI realized it was you and then you were far away, and I felt weird about introducing myself.
Cute outfit, I love the boots!

Aww, dating your husband again. That's so sweet! I love this outfit, too. You've mastered adorable, casual chic. :) And thanks for sounding off on my last blog post; I appreciate your thoughts. But I hope you weren't seriously offended by my musings... I tried to make it very clear that I would never insult other fashion bloggers or call anyone shallow or vapid; these are simply issues I've been dealing with on a personal level. I think other bloggers are way more creative than I am, and wish I could keep up! It's not a race or a competition, but I guess what I was trying to say is that sometimes I'm simply too tired or uninspired to keep going when there are so many other things I worry about. Know what I mean? But I have no plans to quit blogging anytime soon; I just have to take little breaks sometimes to clear my head and get inspired all over again... just like falling back in love. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely look with the boots and skirt. I know what you mean with marriage. I feel like I've been married forever (five years) until I hear of people celebrating their 30th anniversary. Then I realize I have a looong way to go :)
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet! I had date last night, too : )
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I really love your skirt. I can't believe you found it at wet seal. I go to that store to find something, but I can never find modest skirt or clothes that I like. I will try that store again. Wish me luck!
soooo cute
ReplyDeletei am a big fan of sunnies!
ReplyDeleteahhh! i love that!
ReplyDeleteI also need those moments again..
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet! What's an inspiration. I'm getting married soon and that's definitely one thing I'll keep in mind.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great skirt! I usually don't like the look of skirts with boots- but it looks great here- the skirt has a very nice print. I love your outfit- as always. :-)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, you look greattttt in a bun.

I know I should have. My husband said "Go talk to her, I'll go talk to her." haha. He's the extrovert of the 2 of us. Next time I see you I swear I will come and say hello.
ReplyDeleteWe were doing the very same thing at NR, waiting for our movie. haha, funny.

This skirt is absolutely adorable!! I love it on you! I also really like how you tied the scarf into a belt! I am glad you and your husband had a great date; I too feel the same way....sometimes I feel like I have been married forever, and sometimes I feel like we just started dating! How long have you been married for?
ReplyDeleteThank you for asking how I am feeling! You are just the sweetest! I actually had to have my tonsils and adenoids out and a deviated septum corrected on Friday morning, and I am feeling a bit better today! I have some time off work this week to recover, so I am looking forward to learning a little more about photoshop and catching up on blogs! :)
