I wish

This is what I wish I wore today. The outfit I had on earlier didn't feel as good if that makes sense. So right when I got home from work I changed into this..... :P (Side note: Is anybody else's workplace really really cold? I go to work dressed for the weather and find myself in an icebox. If we can afford new computers, we can certainly afford to install a working thermostat..)
modest lds fashion blog clothed much
Wearing Hanes shirt (the husband found it in the Architecture building while he was cleaning....so FREE), H&M necklace ($5, 2 years ago), Aeropostale jeans ($25), Nine West boots ($65).

And then I dragged the husband to go shopping. But don't worry....it was a consignment store and I was able to get two shirts for $7. Love it. So does the husband.

  1. Oh man, don't you just hate it when you start the day off wit one outfit and realize that you HAVE to change?? That happens to me more often than I would like to admit, haha.

I love how comfortable this outfit looks and the boots are so unexpected!

I'm looking forward to seeing the new shirts you got!

  2. Most offices seem to be iceboxes. My own office is freezing most of the day, then heats up like a greenhouse in the mid-afternoon, which is why I like to (or rather, have to) layer.

I love the post-work outfit! The t-shirt, cuffed jeans, and boots--very edgy.

  3. This is such a great, simple look. I work from home, so I basically live in clothes like this.

  4. Currently, my work space isn't cold, but I have worked in places where it's FRIGID!!! I bring a cardi or (recently with a cold snap here), I've brought in some blankets to use while I'm at my desk.

  6. My office is pretty cold.... I have a hard time getting dressed in my top floor crazy hot apartment and remembering that my butt is going to freeze off in capris and a short sleeve shirt... It's all about the cardigan.
