Finally..

4/30/2009

I have been looking online forever for fashion blogs for the more conservative/modest crowd, only to find that they were much outdated and are completely useless now. So after much (actually only a couple days) contemplation I have decided to start it myself! Although I am certainly in no position to be giving fashion advice, I will be expressing my opinions like it or not.

Wearing Ann Taylor dress ($20), thrifted AE denim jacket ($5), gray knee-high socks from Korea ($5), and secondhand brown wedges ($7).

So glad I decided to wear socks because it is slowly getting colder much to everyone's dismay... This is what I wore to work today as I ran to catch TRAX. Running in wedges sucks.

EDIT: I just found some great modest fashion blogs online so I apologize about my comment before. I was obviously not looking in the right places! But let me just say it is so comforting to have found some!

I hope I was included in your "edit"! haha. I have the same problem; plus, adding to that problem is that we are stereotyped because we chose to dress modestly. Emily and I at Modestly Chic have fun writing on our blog as will you. Stop by to check us out often!

welcome to the blogosphere! If by modest, you mean clothing, I can help you out. If my modest, you mean budget, I can still help you out! Because I'm both!!! It can be hard to be modestly dressed AND modestly priced these days!!!

I'll add a link to you blog on my blog, k? :)

peace! :)

I cant believe, i have been so obsessed with your blog. I first saw it on Thurs or Fri. I locked myself in my room to see EVERY SINGLE POST of yours ! ITs amazing ! I have been going backwards, clicked older posts a hundred times...and saw how it evolved...and i am amazed because you manage to look so good with soo little and you do it with complete modesty. The only thing i wish Asia had more was thrift stores ! lol. Fantastic blog !

Just like Jubi down there, I've been obsessing over your blog for the past three weekends and have now reached the end (your beginning). It's bittersweet, more bitter, really, because now I have nothing to obsess over anymore...except your upcoming posts. Hooray! What a feat.
